One of the loveliest "undiscovered" places in the region is holding a unique holiday event,
Fort Leaton (just east of Presidio) is sharing a Holiday "Posada" with visitors, one of the oldest Mexican holiday traditions. From their website,
"The
traditional “posada” is a celebration in true Mexican fashion commemorating
Mary and Joseph’s search for lodging in anticipation of their child’s birth.
Traditional treats and entertainment will be provided in this “must see” border
event."
