This July 4th holiday weekend in Fort Davis, there was a special effort to honor some special people. A couple of years ago, that community suffered through a devastating wildfire, the same kind of fire that killed firefighters in Arizona last week. When it was discovered that the same crew to lose their lives fought the Livermore fire in Fort Davis, there was an outpouring of support. Donations to support firefighters can be made to the Wildland Firefigher Foundation:
