A Green July!
We've been so fortunate with rain this monsoon season, the entire region is sprouting green!

In the far, far distant past, the Big Bend region had a wetter, cooler climate. The lush greenery that emerges with sustained rains almost makes one imagine that the earth itself retains a memory of those times, and remains ready to spring forth with new life at every opportunity!
