On July 4th, the
Fort Davis National Historic Site had a Junior Ranger Day with lots of activities for kids to learn about our history. There was a vintage baseball game (we covered this a few days ago, page down to see the photos), children's games and a cavalry demonstration. Both soldier and horse were in full historical gear and the volunteer patiently answered questions and told about the life of a soldier in the West. As you can see the kids had a great time!
