Next July 4th? Spend the holiday in the Texas Mountains!

Below are some GREAT shots of the Fort Davis "Coolest July 4th" Parade from Saturday by our friend, Ray Leach, of San Antonio.  Next year, join the fun!

We spent our time at the Apple Pie/Apple Empanada contest, held by the Food Pantry of Jeff Davis County.  After the judging was over, slices sold for $3 a piece!  We snagged a slice that had cheddar cheese flaked in the crust.  YUMMY!
