Early Van Horn
Judging by similar photographs, we believe this photograph was taken after 1902. Note the adobe building going up in the foreground? And the wagons and the clothes in the line? Click on the photo for a closer view!
The building under construction appears to be stone rather than adobe even though that certainly is a big stack of adobes next to it. Look at a closeup of the bottom corner of the photo. The courses are way too think to be adobe and the exterior is clearly quarried stone. Still a gret historical photograph. Some of the other building (the white ones) could certainly be adobe.
