We're hearing from lots of folks this week seeking hiking alternatives now that our national parks are temporarily closed. One of the places we suggest is Fort Davis'
Chihuahuan Desert Nature Center, which has some
nice trails for hiking (all levels of difficulty) that would fill a morning or afternoon.
Here's a video of a group hiking down from the Clayton's Overlook trail, which offers a 360 degree view (and great interpretive panels) of the entire Davis Mountains.
